"I tried joining in Summer-2017. Told them I had to reschedule my initiation. I never ended up getting initiated and they never gave me back the money I gave them with my petition to join. When I first walked in, I saw a bunch of old people at the bar drinking at 1pm. The inside resembles a bowling alley, if it only had a bar and pool table. A lot of these fraternities have a massive age gap, and this is one of them. You absolutely will not see many members under 40 and none really under 30. I have not been to the one in Sylvania so I cannot comment on that one."

"I am a member of the Maumee Elks Lodge. The wooden floors for dancing have been resurfaced and are very easy to dance on. I love to dance. Great exercise. They also have good food that you can order there and if you're a member, the food and the drinks are cheaper. As a matter of fact, I was there last Saturday. And I ordered a black Russian one of my favorite drinks."

"I spent a good part of my day here during the Acoustics for Autism music festival. I really appreciate the Elks opening up their wonderful lodge for visitors for such a fun and altruistic event. All the Elk members working that day were terrific and friendly, even under the stress of hundreds of guests all day long. If you are local, and looking for a good club to join, I would consider this place."
